Lifelong Learning Centre can help you get a University Degree

Lifelong Learning is part of the University of Leeds. It aims to help anyone over 21 who hasn’t got a university degree to work towards one. They run a lot of courses and open days.

Now they are promoting two part-time degree courses:

  • Learning and Teaching with SEND
  • Child and Family Studies.

Both courses are:

*part-time

*take only four-years

*involve working or volunteering in a workplace in education, council, health service or similar.

There are lots of benefits of studying with The Lifelong Learning Centre. You may be able to enter without holding traditional qualifications and there is lots support available throughout, both before and during the course.

BA Learning and Teaching with SEND (minimum of 60 hours of workplace contact a year).

BA Child and Family Studies (minimum of 4 hours of workplace contact each week).

Free food and activities at half term

Free food and activities for families during the May half term.

Tuesday 27 – 2-4pm pick and mix fun – tables with craft, lego and more and hot meal* at 4pm.

Thursday 29 – bouncy castle and outdoor games 2-4pm. Sandwich packs available from 1pm.

Friday 30 – breakfast* from 9.15 – 11.15am and and crafts 10am-12pm.

*Tuesday hot meal and Friday breakfast are available to anyone, not only families
