Bright Ideas in Belle Isle!

Eight community projects have been successful in their application for funding through the Belle Isle Connecting Communities 'Bright Ideas' Initiative.

The project is being led by local Ward Councillors and Leeds Inner South Area Committee with support from Re'new, Health 4 All and Belle Isle TMO.

Councillor Kim Groves, with help from Lynne Spirrett (BITMO) and Lisa Huntley (Re'new) announced the winners at the B.I.T.M.O.Christmas Party at the Belle Isle Working men’s Club on Saturday 10th December 2011.

We will of course bring you more news over the coming months on how these community projects develop.

Please see our latest news links on the right hand side of this page for information on how to report emergencies if the BITMO office is closed due to severe weather.
