This is an opportunity to really make a difference for you and your neighbourhood, meet new people and find out more about BITMO and the BITMOs GATE community resource centre. You would be part of the team running BITMOs GATE.
The role will involve:
- Helping people to use computers – for example with their Universal Credit journals, bidding for homes, searching for jobs and updating their CVs
- Supporting all GATE activities – from college courses to the community café and job clubs
- Answering basic questions from the public
On the job training and support will be provided.
Hours of work will generally be 15 hours between 9.30am and 3.00pm Monday to Friday with the possibility of additional hours to suit business needs. This is a temporary position – for 3 months.
Rate of pay: £9.50 per hour.

The first recruitment session will be held on Wednesday 3 November. This will involve a basic computer test and a short discussion with the team managers. Successful candidates will be invited to a further interview the following week.
