Permanent, Part-time, job share, 14.8 hours per week (7.4 hours per day, Thursday and Friday)
C3 £12,824 – £13,479 per annum (FTE £32,061 – £33,699pa)
BITMO is a tenant-managed organisation based in the heart of our community in Belle Isle south Leeds. Working closely with Leeds City Council, we are responsible for managing their housing and estate services in the Belle Isle neighbourhood, which is approximately nineteen hundred council properties.
Working within a small team of Rent Account Officers in a job share arrangement on Thursday and Fridays with a colleague who will work Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. You will support the Income & Tenancy Manager in undertaking an efficient arrears recovery role within your defined patch. You will negotiate payment terms with debtors and their representatives, undertake tenancy visits, advise tenants on the options available for the payment of rent including applications for universal credit, housing benefit, maximising income through various debt recovery processes, and liaise with legal services and outside agencies in the recovery of debt.
