Are you aged over 60?

Are you looking for support and a secure housing option?

Are you looking for a smaller home or want to stay put?

Do you want to maintain your independence?

 - Then Sheltered Housing in Belle Isle could be just the answer for you!

Sheltered housing provides a supportive environment for older, vulnerable and disabled people in the community.  You can stay independent whilst benefiting from support and security.

Belle Isle TMO can provided sheltered housing services in your existing home or at one of the 4 Sheltered Housing complexes in Belle Isle.

All 4 schemes have; a communal room, laundry facilities, a communal outdoor area (one of which has a bowling green for residents to the rear) and are supported by a Sheltered Housing Warden Co-ordinator and two full time Warden’s.

There are different options to choose from including; bedsits, 1 and 2 bedroom flats, and  1 bedroom bungalows.

The warden’s are available 8.30 a.m. to 5.00 p.m. Monday to Friday.

Our warden service offers sheltered residents;

 - Help to settle in, explain how everything works and report any repairs.

 - An assessment of your needs and agree a support plan with you and review the support plan with you regularly.

 - A regular check to see how you are and more importantly respond to any emergencies.

 - A link with family and contact public and voluntary agencies should you need them.

 - Access to social activities within the scheme and what is going on in the local community

As well as the Warden service all of our sheltered accommodation is fitted with an ‘alarm’ connected through to Care Ring which is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.  This acts as an emergency service that they can call on if they feel ill, or have a fall or need any other urgent help, residents can also use a pendant to call for help.
